Porcelain collection with a pot and egg cup
With the ceramic vase I wanted to make a shape that accentuates the material and to make a friendly and discreet aesthetic that doesn’t steal the attention but complements the content within.
The vase and the cup is made through the process of slip casting. The base form of the vase is made of sculptured blue foam with a layer of clay wrapping around the piece. The form of the cup is made with high density foam sanded down to a smooth shape.
