Low energy light for public walkways
Public walk and bikeways are often riddled with lights that ineffectively lights up the road. They also emits light directly into the eyes of the people using the road since the light is often placed high up in the luminaire. The Luminaire often uses a diffusive material surrounding the light not to emit glare, but which leads to a lessened effectiveness of the light.
The aim is to create a luminaire for walk and bikeways that uses the light as much as possible, meanwhile not exposing people with glare. The luminaire should also be simple and easy to construct and assemble.
